“Psychopaths feel emotions.” He reminded her. “Just not all of the same emotions that you feel. I might not feel empathy but I feel things about people.” He paused before continuing. “Despite our ‘behaviors’ and personality traits, we want to be loved and cared for. People just don’t seem to want to give us a chance and get close to us.” Often due to his inability to do more than mimic certain emotions. However that didn’t mean that he lacked feeling towards her because she was showing up for him emotionally and physically which was something his family had abandoned him on.
